Sure, people have leaks on installation. AN doesn't spec a torque (even if they did it would be hard to measure in most instances because you can't use sockets on the fittings), so people get a little timid and don't want to strip things by twisting too much. We recommend pressure testing before installation for this reason. You can usually work out problems before committing to buttoning up the installation. Even so, once the kit is installed, it makes it a TON easier to remove the plenum than the OEM setup (even with the SZ line kit) to fix leaks from not getting things snugged down as required the first time.

Like anything else fuel related underhood of the Z32, you'll need to stay vigilant, but the military, FAA, and racecar folks don't run AN fuild line connections because it's prone to failures...
